The People Beneath The Light
Ahuatzi laid back against the mossy stone. Beyond his feet he could just make out the lights of the city. He wiggled his feet and stretched his arms behind his head, staring up at the streams of light coursing across the sky, broken only by the moons Tenoch and Tozi.
If he looked up fast enough, his stomach would tense, a jolt of adrenaline coursing through him. The sensation of falling was almost enough to make him reach for the ground to steady himself. It was always so beautiful.
